With a heart full of gratitude to God for all the blessings I have been privileged to experience in Christian Science, I am giving this testimony. I realize how much we owe to Mary Baker Eddy for her conscientious, loving life's work in revealing to us the truth of Christian Science in such a practical manner.

Ten years ago I was attacked with a skin disease which manifested itself on my face. I went to various doctors, who did their best to heal me, and for nearly four years I applied more or less ointment. As there were no signs of improvement, I was sent to Berne to the hospital, where I had X-ray and other treatment. After six weeks I was still in the same condition. My hair all came out; even my eyebrows disappeared. I had no more hope, so went home again.

Soon afterwards someone spoke to me about Christian Science. I was ready to accept it at once, and went to a practitioner and asked for help. This was lovingly given. I relied altogether on this teaching, and to my great surprise I was healed in a very short time. Several years have passed, and the ailment has never returned. In the meantime my husband and our child have been healed wonderfully when symptoms of disease have appeared.
