"Pray without ceasing"

"Many sleep who should keep themselves awake and waken the world."—Message to The Mother Church for 1902, by Mary Baker Eddy, page 17.

The shepherd sleeps!
The sheep all graze
In pastures green, on sunny hill,
Near running brook—
Their needs supplied.
Why wake and watch, when all is still?

Ah, shepherd! 't is
The lulling time;
Dark error waits for eyes to close.
Protect their peace;
When all is still,
Oh, watch and pray in sweet repose!
