I am very grateful for having had the opportunity of attending an authorized Christian Science Sunday School for four years. I have been healed of heart trouble which was believed to be inherited. This healing was rather a slow one. The final and complete healing came about while I was attending a lecture on Christian Science. As I left the auditorium where this wonderful lecture was given, I could actually feel the healing take place in my body.
For this and many other perfect healings I am deeply grateful. I am very grateful for the Christian Science Quarterly. By studying the Lesson-Sermon the first thing in the morning I have found that it gives one a great sense of peace and tranquillity. Through this continued study I have been enabled to protect myself and others on numerous occasions. I am very grateful for The Christian Science Monitor. Broken friendships have been healed through the love and truth that are daily given to the world through this wonderful newspaper. I have also had healings from dishonesty and sin.
When I became of age my personal property was in such a legal tangle that for some time it looked as though I were about to lose my rightful possessions. Through the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner all the clouds of doubt and fear were dispelled, the fear of loss disappeared into its native nothingness, and all my property was returned to me. I am very grateful for all of the authorized Christian Science literature. I am very grateful for the beautiful hymn, "Christmas Morn" (Poems, p. 29), written by our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy. I am grateful for the Church Manual. I am grateful to God, the Giver of all good; to Christ Jesus, our beloved Way-shower; and to Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science and the one Leader of the Christian Science movement.
