The Lectures

San Francisco, California (First Church).—The following remarks by George J. Peers were made when introducing the Hon. William E. Brown, a Christian Science lecturer, to his audience:—

Christian Science has met my every need for the past twenty-two years, and has brought more real joy into my life than I had ever known before. It has changed my mentality, freed my thought from the beliefs of creeds and dogmas, and taught me to know the truth as Jesus taught it. It has helped me to overcome fear, by knowing that God is Love, ever present divine Mind, in whom I have my being. And since "God is no respecter of persons," I know that the same blessings which come to me are awaiting all who will make ready to receive them. On page 13 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, we read: "Love is impartial and universal in its adaptation and bestowals. It is the open fount which cries, Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters.'"
