The Lectures

NEW YORK, N. Y. (Seventh Church). — Introducing Mrs. Blanche K. Corby, a Christian Science lecturer, John Jaburg said in part:—

To all the weary ones of earth Christian Science offers the balm of its healing message. In five little Anglo-Saxon words, big with meaning, it says to those who are in trouble of any kind, "There is a way out." And, more than this, Christian Science points the way, and enables every sincere seeker to follow it and win freedom from all the ills and evils that claim to beset him. These statements have been proved times without number, and are being proved daily throughout the world, banishing all the desperate conditions which have hitherto terrified and bound mankind. Christian Science is a free gift to you and me from a sweet, gentle, consecrated, Christlike woman, who did not keep the healing power of her discovery selfishly to herself, but gave it to the world, and patiently faced the world's hatred and scorn as she held out to it this "pearl of great price." This divinely inspired woman was Mary Baker Eddy.
