Omnipresence

Nay , be not sad: thou'rt not alone!
E'er came the clouds, how brightly shone
The sun o'er hill and valley fair:
Behind those clouds the sun shines there!
Ah, well we know, though mortal sense
Doth hide God's holy immanence,
Love still is here and guards us well.
Come, trust in Him! Thy heart may tell
His gentle presence, soothing, sweet;
His voice, then, heed, to guide thy feet,
Till Truth the mortal mist erase,
And thou behold Him face to face!
