Many years ago, Christian Science healed me of valvular heart trouble and inflammatory rheumatism, pronounced incurable by two physicians. I was healed in one week by the faithful work of a practitioner. When I seriously began to study the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, sick headaches and chronic catarrh disappeared. Christian Science has given me, not only health, but great power of endurance. It has made my business life progressive, and has brought peace and happiness into my consciousness.

During the war, when I was doing my "bit" in a munition plant, working on high explosives, I had a great realization of the protecting power of omnipotent Mind; and when a great explosion came, I had no fear, but was distressed because no human means seemed able to prevent those around me from rushing into seeming danger. In these trying moments, when another explosion seemed imminent, I turned away from the evidence of the senses to God; and these words came to me:—

"In atmosphere of love divine,
We live, and move, and breathe."

After repeating these over and over again, I looked up, and saw those around me quiet and content to stay where they were; and this proved to be the right thing to do.

All that I am, I owe to Christian Science; and I am so grateful to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for her untiring efforts in giving us this truth.
