Christian Science Sentinel

Subscriptions to the Sentinel will begin with the current issue unless otherwise specified. The delivery of the periodical will indicate that a remittance has been credited, and will be the acknowledgment of the subscription.

Subscription price, payable in advance, postpaid to all countries: One year, $3.00; six months, $1.50; three months, 75 cents; single copy, 7 cents.

Owing to the instability of money values and the fluctuation of exchange rates, we are, for the present, not printing a table of money equivalents. This information can be obtained correctly from the bank or local post office at the time it is desired to send in money.

Special Announcements

Vest Pocket Edition of the Textbook

Announcement is made of the publication of a new, Vest Pocket Edition of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. This volume, 3 1-16 x 4 5-16 inches in size, has been provided to meet the demand for an edition of the Christian Science textbook which can be conveniently carried in the small pocket of a soldier's or sailor's uniform, occupy the minimum space, and be of the least possible weight.

The price of the new edition is $3.00 for a single copy. When included in lots of twelve or more copies of Science and Health in any or all of the different bindings, the price is $2.75 each.

Orders for this edition for general sale are now being filled promptly.

Vest Pocket Edition of the Quarterly

Commencing with the July number, and continuing thereafter, a special vest pocket edition of The Christian Science Quarterly will be issued, conforming in size to the vest pocket edition of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy.

The price will be the same as for the regular edition of the Quarterly. Reading rooms may secure any desired quantity of either or both sizes.

"What Our Leader Says," by Mary Baker Eddy, from "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany," has been reprinted on a card folder, vest pocket size, and is now on sale at five cents a copy.

New Pamphlet

"Christian Science: A Religion that Heals through Spiritual Law," by Virgil O. Strickler, is now on sale at five cents a copy.

New Vest Pocket Pamphlet

"Protection," a collection of three short articles: "Safety," "Divine Preservation," "Intrenchment."

This pamphlet is now on sale at four cents a copy.

Bible Catalogue

Bible Catalogue No. 24 is now ready for delivery. Advance copies have been mailed to all churches and societies advertised in The Christian Science Journal. Additional copies will be supplied on request.

Attention is called to the changed prices of some of the Bibles, including 01440x and 01483x, notice of which appears on the inside of the front cover of this periodical.

Church Tenets.—The tenets of The First Church of Christ, Scientist,—The Mother Church,—printed on folded sheet for use of the branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, with space for printing their authorized forms of application for membership or extracts from their by-laws, can be had at seventy-five cents a hundred. Orders will not be taken for less than one hundred and postage stamps should not be sent in payment.

Correspondence relative to the tenets or to membership with The Mother Church should be sent to Charles E. Jarvis, Clerk, 236 Huntington Avenue, Back Bay, Boston, Massachusetts.

From the Church Treasurer

Per Capita Tax.—The annual per capita tax for which the Manual provides is due from members of The Mother Church June 1, but may be paid at any time during the year. The per capita tax of those who unite with the church in November is reckoned from the preceding June, for that is the beginning of the church year. If a remittance for church dues exceeds the amount required to balance one's account, the surplus will be credited for the current year, unless otherwise directed by the sender.

Please remit by postal or express money order, bank draft, or check. Do not send paper money through the mail unless registered.

Please advise promptly of any change in name or address.
