Wallasey and Wirral Chronicle

My attention has been drawn to an article entitled "Spiritualism: True and False." The writer of it seems to think that when Christian Science came on the scene the "healing power and spirit phenomena" of Spiritualism were withdrawn. Christian Science is defined by Mrs. Eddy, on page 1 of "Rudimental Divine Science," as "the law of God, the law of good, interpreting and demonstrating the divine Principle and rule of universal harmony." True spiritual healing has not been withdrawn through the advent of Christian Science, but greatly increased. It is spreading with phenomenal rapidity, in proof of the Biblical prophecies, "The earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea;" and "The inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity," because Christian Science has revealed the understanding of the words of our Master, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
