It is with great pleasure that I write this testimony to express my thankfulness to God and my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for the good I have found in Christian Science, and to tell of the wonderful proof in the case of my ten months old baby. When washing one day I put the wash boiler on the porch after removing the clothes, and while I was hanging them out my elder child called to me that the baby had fallen into the boiler headfirst. When I pulled him out, he seemed to all appearances to have passed away; but I had no fear, and held to the truth that no harm could come to God's child. In less than five minutes the water came out of his mouth and nose and he opened his eyes. Some neighbors wanted me to use material remedies; but I told them God would heal him and he would be all right, and he was.

I am striving each day to learn more of Christian Science, so that I may help to lighten the burdens of others.

With a deep sense of gratitude I confirm my wife's testimony. Love's ever present help has proven to me without measure a "pearl of great price." Through reading Science and Health I have been healed of the tobacco habit of twenty-three years' standing, also of neuralgia in the eyes from which I had suffered for twenty-four years.

As we press on we cannot be too grateful for the pure thought that discerned spiritually these priceless precepts and gave them to hungering humanity, also for the tireless workers in headquarters. I am striving each day to prove myself worthy the calling of a Christian Scientist.
