In our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," we read that Christian Science "dissolves tumors" (p. 162), and it is to this effect that I herewith wish to offer my testimony. About three years ago a hard swelling formed on my back underneath the skin. A very painful incision was made by the physician, and after applying hot poultices for several days the abscess disappeared. Six months later, however, it manifested itself again at the same place. In the mean time I had become acquainted with Christian Science, and while I was under treatment, the abscess grew larger at first, but one day was entirely dissolved without surgical means and without my experiencing the slightest pain. The trouble has never appeared again, for what is healed through divine Love is healed forever. Christian Science has also cured me of nervous, stomach, and bowel troubles, accompanied by a sensitive condition of the appendix, and of severe nervous debility.

I thank God from the depths of my hearth for the understanding of His ever-present help, and for the assurance, "I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him."
