Truth

Henry Deutsch, a Jew, who some years ago became a Christian Scientist, believes the Hebrew may do this without losing hold on the fundamentals of the old faith. This does not puzzle us nearly as much as that a contrary impression should exist. Because the ancient Jews rejected Christ as a miracle is no reason why the modern one should fail to recognize in him the symbol of all good and wisdom, as the beauty of his life and teachings undoctored by men prove him to have been.

Christian Science weaves no wonderful stories about his comings or goings, that he was and is being the important factor to this sect, as it must be to all thinking men; and as most Jews are this, there is nothing strange or miraculous in the fact that every Christian Science church has its quota of Hebrews.
