With a grateful heart I acknowledge the multiplied blessings which I have received through Christian Science, but to express this fully is well-nigh impossible. I was healed of an abnormal growth after five eminent physicians had stated that nothing but an operation could possibly save my life, and the last physician asserted that I had but one chance out of a hundred to live after undergoing the operation.

I had heard Christian Science mentioned several times, and decided that I would give it a trial rather than undergo the operation. A practitioner was accordingly called, and in less than one week I was able to go to the practitioner's office. Before this I had been for nine months under the care of different physicians, and was continually growing worse. I have also been healed of many minor ailments, among them the effect of a severe fall on the ice, which was overcome almost instantly. For years I was troubled with a bowel difficulty, of which I have been completely healed.

For all these blessings I am indeed thankful to God, and I am also grateful to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has made this Science demonstrable.
