I am very glad to tell others of the results which came from a week's absent treatment in Christian Science given me during a trip to California, headaches, car-sickness, and other aliments being overcome. Ir seemed to me almost impossible to take so long a journey, and yet I reached Pasadena, Cal., in splendid condition; was not even tired, which seemed very remarkable for I had never been strong. I had the help of a practitioner, and through the goodness of God was enabled to enjoy what otherwise would have been anything but a pleasure trip.

While living in San Mateo, Cal., in 1907, on Thanksgiving day, at one in the morning, I was suddenly stricken with a paralytic attack. A Christian Science practitioner was sent for immediately and reached me in about an hour, remaining with me until eight o'clock, when she went away for a couple of hours. I then arose, dressed, and went upstairs alone, and continued to improve from then on, so that I left in February for the East. I was then past seventy years of age. Thank God for the help received, and Mrs. Eddy for what she is doing for mankind.
