THE LECTURES

There was quite a large attendance last evening [Dec. 27] at the Hawaiian Opera House, at the first of the two lectures on Christian Science to be given by Francis J. Fluno, M.D. The two lectures he is giving, the second of which will be given next Sunday afternon [Dec. 29] are under the auspices of the Christian Science Association of Honolulu. Dr. Fluno was introduced to the audience by Mrs. Ranney Scott.—The Pacific Commercial Advertiser.

The National Theater was filled to capacity yesterday afternoon [Dec. 15] when Edward A. Kimball of Chicago lectured on Christian Science. H. Cornell Wilson of Washington introduced the lecturer, saying in part,—
