I want to tell what Christian Science has done for me and my family. My son, fifteen years of age, has lately been healed of catarrh of about ten years' standing. The disease became so obnoxious that it was very disagreeable to have him sit in the room with the family. His throat was affected, indeed his whole system was more or less diseased from the catarrh, and he had become quite deaf. Being very much distressed at his condition, and knowing that other members of my family had derived great benefit from Christian Science treatment, some years ago, I wrote to a practitioner for help. The boy improved from the first, the disagreeable odor was soon overcome, and he is now well and going to school. I am very grateful for the healing of my son.

I also wish to say that four years ago Christian Science destroyed some very inharmonious conditions in my family. My daughter was almost a total physical wreck from an abscess in her left side, from which she had suffered for five years. She had had an operation performed, which only left her worse than before and with another running sore in her side. The practitioner whose help we sought at that time lived near us and came regularly to see my daughter. Treatment was commenced in February, 1900, and by the following April she was entirely healed. Another little daughter was healed of gravel.

The physical healing of my children has been wonderful but the spiritual healing that has come to me through my son's healing is more wonderful. Through this demonstration I have been awakened to a greater desire for right living, and to know more of this healing truth. Can I ever be thankful enough to God, and to our dear Leader, who has shown us the way to gain all these blessings?

There are no other Christian Scientists here, so my family and I read the Lesson-Sermon on Sunday mornings in our home.—J. W. ISAACS, Thompsonville, Ill.
