It is nearly three years since I began the study of Christian Science, and no words can express the joy and uplifting which I experienced as I realized that I had found the truth for which I had prayed. I was dissatisfied with the church of which I had always been a member, and was unable to receive help from my own understanding of the Bible, which I had only read from a sense of duty. It was a great comfort to find that, with the aid of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" I was able to enjoy the reading of the Bible.
The greatest blessings, I think, which I have received through Christian Science is the spiritual uplifting that it brought to me. Many ailments have been overcome through Christian Science treatment. For a long time I was a great sufferer from neuralgia, which was cured after two treatments. I also suffered agonies from indigestion for four years, and would wake up nearly every night with it; a short time after I began this study, the indigestion entirely disappeared and I have had no return of it. I was healed of train-sickness instantaneously.
Before hearing of Christian Science I was very nervous and was afraid almost to speak to any one; but, to a great extent it has been overcome and I am trying to realize each day that "there is no fear in love," and "God is Love."
I can only show my gratitude to God, to our Leader, and to all those who have helped me to understand this blessed truth, by striving to live it and to bring others into the light.—F. J., Quainton, England.
