No matter where you live, there’s historic significance in the 250th anniversary of the signing of the United States of America’s Declaration of Independence. The Bible encourages us to “stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage” (Galatians 5:1). The liberty that Christ brings transcends temporary circumstances. It’s a source of continual hope for the world.
