The 7 ways of God's children

Kaiana Bradley goes to Sunday School in Oregon. Inspired by the “song about God” written by kids in the December 5, 2011, Sentinel, she decided to make one up herself. Together with her Sunday School teacher, Roberta Sperling, Kaiana wrote seven verses about the seven synonyms for God from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy (see p. 465). You can sing this song to the tune of “Row, row, row your boat.”

Love, love, love You, God,
every single day.
Happily, happily, happily, happily
Love will lead the way.

Mind knows everything.
Mind is everywhere.
Mind is all around us.
Just like the air.

Life gives joy and pow’r.
Life is always here.
Running and jumping
and singing and moving,
there’s no room for fear.

Truth answers every call,
no matter who we are.
Honesty, clarity, knowing what’s true,
these are never far.

We know the fun of Soul,
Soul is very good.
Creative, pure, infinite Soul,
that is understood.

Principle, yes, that’s the way
to keep us on the track.
We don’t slip or get confused.
We will not go back.

Spirit, Spirit, ever near,
giving strength and power.
God will keep us always safe,
guiding every hour.

Kaiana is a teenager who likes to dance (modern) and swim, and enjoys reading, writing, and drawing. She is also in a program called 4-H where she raises pigs and shows them at a
