Lighthouse—my house

[Original in Japanese]

From the October 16, 1989 issue of the Christian Science Sentinel

The sea is dark.
Wind and rain crashing.
Ah! there is a light—
just a small light, twinkling far.
Life's light is love, Father-Mother God's love.
But the world's waves are tall; the wind beats hard,
surging wildly.
Then a considerate heart, hands opened to help,
love, seen and felt—
the small light of the lighthouse
gives hope and rescue.
I want to be a keeper of such a lighthouse.
That is the heart of one who comforts,
a peacemaker,
showing the love of God,
knowing Love's light shines endlessly.
