We sometimes take good health for granted. And maybe we’ve been taking some physical trouble for granted as well, thinking that it’s also part of who we are. But when an ailment is life-threatening or life-draining, and it doesn’t give way to our best efforts to eliminate it, we may value good health more than ever—and wonder if we’ll ever find it—permanently. There is an answer to even the most persistent troubles. It involves persistence along spiritual lines, a willingness to look to a higher, more reliable basis for health.
