Love Never Faileth

From the December 31, 1938 issue of the Christian Science Sentinel

Though there be prophecies, prophecies shall fail,
Though there be knowledge, 'twill vanish away.
Faith is sight supernal, hope is joy eternal,
Love is fulfillment, forever, today.
Love never faileth, Love is ever loving,
Love endureth ever, remaineth Love alway.

Faith removeth mountains, Love supplieth fountains
Where men may drink of the water of Life.
Vain are works without love, Love doth lift us above
Sorrow and suffering, error and strife.
Love never faileth, Love is ever loving,
Love endureth ever, remaineth Love alway.

Love is overcoming all that seems unlovely,
For Love is perfect, divinely complete;
Knowing as we are known, with Love we are at one,
Joyously gathered at Love's mercy seat.
Love never faileth, Love is ever loving,
Love endureth ever, remaineth Love alway.
