We are learning as we progress spiritward what a wonderful statement is that of Christ Jesus in the concluding words of the Lord's Prayer, "Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever." The spiritual sense of these words is given in Science and Health, p. 17, as follows: "God is infinite, all-power, all Life, Truth, Love, over all, and All."

How inspiring to know that God, good, is infinite! The declaration of Christ Jesus is that there is no end of good for us here and now. We have but to open our eyes to behold it, but to open our hands and God will give it to us, but to open our homes and each nook and corner is flooded with good. With this understanding our entire being and its every activity expresses good; for it is God's will that each one of us should manifest peace, harmony, contentment, and joy, because good has no limits. Our God who is all-good is also all-power; therefore evil, sin, sickness, weakness, and weariness are without any power whatsoever. They are nothing except as we make them something; hence Paul declares, "There is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God." The following verse in our Hymnal is well worth committing to memory:—

God will support our hearts,
With might before unknown;
The work to be performed is ours,
The strength is all His own.

It is health-compelling to realize that because God is all Life there is nothing in the universe but Life; there is no reality and no entity in any opposite or counterfeit of Life. Disease is not something; it has no place, no power, no past, present, or future, except what we give to it. Life never began, can never end, because God is without beginning or end. It is not the teaching of Jesus, but the mistaken belief of mortal mind that says, "The days of our years are three score years and ten." According to the Word of God the days of our years are endless, for Jesus distinctly says, "He that believeth on me hath everlasting life."

Another inspiring fact that should always abide with us is the revelation that God is all Truth. Then there is no entity whatever to error, discord, or materiality. When we realize this, falsehoods and wrong arguments are entirely without results. Jesus declared, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Because all is Truth, we are free, and ours is the liberty of the sons of God. Each one of us is free to seek Truth; then let us ever claim man's birthright, and know that we can neither be in bondage to any person or any thing. Ours is the inalienable right to life, liberty, and happiness, and because unto God "is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever," therefore life is ours, and truth is ours, now and forever.

The healing Mother-Love is ever present, because "thine is the kingdom." There is no other power, no other presence, no other being but Love divine. This Love is all-action, all-presence, all-consciousness, all-reality, and Science and Health declares, on page 571, "Clad in the panoply of Love, human hatred cannot reach you." Knowing this, we have no enemies, as our Leader's inspired and inspiring articles in "Miscellaneous Writings," "Love your enemies" and "Taking offense," make plain. These words in our Hymnal beautifully remind us that our God is "over all and All."

God comes with succor speedy,
To those who suffer wrong;
To help the poor and needy,
And bid the weak be strong;
He comes to break oppression,
And set the captive free,
To take away transgression,
And rule in equity.
