When
one has become sufficiently disillusioned by the fallibility of false gods and seen the impossibility of their satisfying the desire for happiness or success, one may join with Job in his cry for the true God, "Oh that I knew where I might find him!"

years ago, a young student of Christian Science heard the statement made by one who for many years had enjoyed the blessings which are among the things added to those seeking first the kingdom of God, "My greatest desire is to know God better; everything else is incidental.
Threats
by aggressor nations to invade countries where the enemy's foot has not yet trod, or suggestions of fear that still greater horrors may be inflicted by the forces of destruction upon those that oppose them, will not dismay individuals and peoples who have placed their whole trust in God.
It
may be said that war is a state of organized conflict, in which the resources of the combatants are drawn upon in a struggle for supremacy; while peace on earth is a state of liberty and security, with obedience to law and order on all sides.
