Effects from spider's bite dissolve

Last spring my husband and I went for an overnight to tour and photograph the bluebonnets in the Hill Country of Texas. We stayed in a rustic resort overlooking the hills and a nearby lake, and the view was absolutely breathtaking.

The next morning, as I was dressing, I noticed my right arm was swollen and throbbing with a blister on top. My husband mentioned that it looked like a poisonous spider bite. It continued hurting as we drove the two-and-a-half-hour trip home, and I prayed to know the truth about my identity as well as the spider’s. I affirmed that God creates all and governs all in perfect harmony, so His creatures can only express good to one another. As soon as we arrived home, I went to my desk to study and pray.

Later, my husband came in from his office and looked at my arm and said it looked like a brown recluse spider bite. His friend had just e-mailed him a warning about this spider, which is common in our state, and the e-mail included photos of the spider’s bite.
