You can be free of allergies

For anyone who may be struggling with allergic reactions, this issue of the Sentinel is full of healing! As you’ll see, many people have proved that prayer is powerful and can bring not just relief but full freedom.

One of the basic premises about allergies is that certain external substances or conditions, which are not detrimental to most people, can afflict a subset of the population. Each year sufferers spend millions and millions of dollars in search of treatments, and miss a lot of time from both work and leisure. 

But Christian Science presents the revolutionary concept that neither the problem nor the remedy is external to ourselves—somewhere “out there” in the physical environment. We have the scientific prayer that Jesus taught, right at hand, in this very hour. And understanding spiritually that we live in God’s whole, complete, and perfect universe is a singular, powerful means of conquering each troublesome reaction or extreme sensitivity.
