LETTERS

After my study of the weekly Christian Science Bible Lesson, I keep in mind the loved ones I wish to pray for at this time. Then I usually read an article from the Sentinel. This morning I read "The TLC that never fails" by Janet Clements in the March 22 issue. What a help it was to me to clearly see that "the tender loving care of the heavenly Father-Mother is a love that embraces us all and never fails."

I needed to uplift the state of my thought for my husband, son, and several other friends, who are not Christian Scientists. Janet's article helped me understand that "while we don't provide specific metaphysical treatment to one receiving medical care, we can steadfastly know that God's love encompasses everyone, always."

It was such a comfort to be reminded of the Allness of God. That He is the "only real force." And her last paragraph was especially inspiring: "Letting our caregiving blend with the Divine, we meet the human need with grace. We cherish our loved ones as forever held in the tender arms of inexhaustible Love, and sustained by the power of everlasting Life. Now that's TLC!"
