AN OVERWHELMING RESPONSE TO THE 'LOVE, IDENTITY, & SEXUALITY' SENTINEL

Many readers took the time to write in their personal inspiration, healing, encouragement, and constructive criticism on the articles from the June 18 Sentinel. In light of this, we felt all readers should be able to benefit from some of the heartfelt responses we've received. The following is a sampling of the correspondence that has poured in from all over.

I really appreciated the June 18 issue. I'm grateful to see articles about deep human needs and problems, whether I agree with every single word or not. And speaking of a single word, one in an article years ago in one of the Christian Science periodicals touched me deeply. The word was postmarital. In speaking of sex and marriage, the writer commented at the end that both premarital and postmarital sex weren't truly satisfying. We tend to hear a lot about one and very little about the other.

These issues of identity, sexuality, and worth are on our doorsteps, whether we are church members, parents, teachers, etc. We can bury our heads in the sand, editorially speaking, or we can have something available to help people.
