HER HUSBAND'S PRAYER AND CARE
When Cheryl became ill, the symptoms seemed so threatening that it looked as though I might lose my life-partner. As I helped her get comfortable, I was praying with all my heart that God would heal her.
Just prior to this, I had left a job and was preparing to search for other employment. I decided to delay the search and use the financial settlement I had received to cover our living expenses. I willingly became caregiver, cook, chauffeur, and full-time parent to our young son. At no time did I feel I was losing out on my career, and in fact my next employer greatly valued the commitment I had made to my family.
