"I sat down with Sentinel after Sentinel .... They were helping me just as dear friends would."

Recently, I saw the Sentinel in a new light. I was praying about a challenging situation, and although I didn't want to talk with anyone, I needed support and fresh ideas. I knew if I were to call a friend, he or she would say, "I know just how you feel. You know, this is how I worked out something similar. Here are some of the ideas that helped me."

Then I realized I had dozens of friends right at my fingertips. My friends were the authors of the articles and testimonies in the Sentinel. Each friend had worked so earnestly to share with others what had healed or helped him or her.

I sat down with Sentinel after Sentinel and read from cover to cover. I felt such love and gratitude for the honest, inspiring insights, the humor, and all the prayerful dedication it takes to write those articles. They were helping me just as dear friends would. And it was wonderful to know they were helping thousands of others all over the world. I felt so nourished and fed. The healing was completed through the love and support of my friends! So thank you to all those who are willing to share so generously so others can benefit from your lives.
