"Truth is always the victor" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 380)

"Truth is always the victor" (Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, p. 380). I had an experience in recent years that attests to the validity of this statement.

In 1982 I relocated for the purpose of starting a business. The project was being financed by a company out of state. That company owned 80 percent of our new venture, and I was in a position to earn a 20 percent equity. There were many lessons to be learned along the way, but our efforts were successful. By the end of February 1985 we had sold over eight and a half million dollars worth of equipment and had over a thousand satisfied customers.

The following month the parent company suddenly terminated my employment without cause. I felt this move was wrong, since we had lived up to our part of the contract. At the time I owned 20 percent of the stock, had performed as agreed and more, and the subsidiary was very profitable.
