"Thine age shall be clearer than the noonday"

If the euphemism "senior citizen" describes our time of life, we needn't succumb to the limitations that popular belief would fasten on us.

Christian Science reveals a spiritual source of joy, renewal, and strength that can be tapped by anyone regardless of age. This source is God Himself, the creator and sustainer of us all, and the capacities and abilities that He imparts to you and me can never be lost. The Bible states forthrightly of those who live in accord with God's law, "Thine age shall be clearer than the noonday; thou shalt shine forth, thou shalt be as the morning." Job 11:17;

The universal intelligence and Life that man expresses isn't in a gradual decline. Nothing in God's creation is sliding downhill. The glory of divine Mind's fullness remains unchanged. Each of us, whether humanly twenty-five or seventy-five, needs to identify himself with this fathomless, immortal source of intelligence and vitality, and vigorously reject all that would seemingly contradict it. The book of Isaiah promises, "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isa. 40:31;
