Many and diverse are the benefits I have experienced through Christian Science. A few weeks after I first became acquainted with it, our son, nine months old, was healed of an illness which caused him to vomit all his food. This went on for a day and a night, whereupon I decided to have Christian Science treatment for him. Within half an hour after a practitioner was called, the child was healed. He retained his full formula and soon was playing happily. At two and a half years he was enrolled in the Christian Science Sunday School. Today he is an active Christian Scientist and has two children of his own who are being raised in Science.
My own first healing was of a condition which had been diagnosed by a specialist as a fallopian pregnancy. I was told the tube had ruptured and that an immediate operation was imperative. I was awakened to see what I really needed. I thanked the doctor and refused the operation, and at once asked a Christian Science practitioner to work for me. After three weeks of Christian Science treatment I was completely well. Discharge ceased, all pain left, my color and appetite improved, and I was radiant with gratitude. From then on I went forward steadily in this religion, studying deeply.
In the years since, safety on an icy highway was demonstrated by the immediate application of the truth when a head-on collision seemed imminent. Lost articles have been found through trusting divine guidance. A skin disorder I had for about two years was healed. A large wart shrank and vanished when I realized its unreality.
These problems were largely handled by my own understanding. An ear infection, for which I asked help of a practitioner, was cleared up. The sense of smell, absent for months, was restored through treatment by a practitioner. A sprained ankle I sustained from a fall on a stairway healed in two days with one treatment.
The most recent healing occurred last winter. What seemed to be the effect on my heart of inhaling poisonous fumes was healed within an hour in one treatment after calling a practitioner fifteen hundred miles away. Next morning I went into town fifty-seven miles from our home and finished my Christmas shopping.
For the teachings of this religion of Love, which honors God and Christ Jesus as no other does, for the courage, pure thought, and untiring labors of Mrs. Eddy, and for all whose lives are dedicated to our beloved Cause, I am deeply grateful.

I am very glad to confirm the testimony of my wife as given above. The verdict of the specialist whom we consulted before my wife's first healing was that she must have an immediate operation or face the certainty of a year or so of invalidism possibly to be followed by an early death.
I am now a member of The Mother Church and a branch church. For all the benefits and blessings I have received through Christian Science, I am truly grateful.
