To the ever-increasing record of the healing power of Christian Science, I should like to add my testimony. More than twenty years ago I was completely healed of tuberculosis after I had been given less than three months to live. By the end of the three months, I had gained forty pounds in weight. The doctor who had pronounced my case as incurable did not recognize me when I passed him on the street a year later. When I told him who I was, he remarked that only Christian Science could heal one as ill as I had been.

Another healing I experienced and for which I am deeply grateful was that of a broken hip. When help was requested of a Christian Science practitioner, the pain, which had been excruciating, ceased almost immediately.

My husband, who is not a student of Christian Science, insisted on my having an X ray to see if a bone had been fractured. The X ray showed a badly fractured hip. I was told that unless the bone was set and a pin placed in it, I would never walk again. I refused all medical aid, and when a second X ray was taken nine days later, it showed the bone properly set and almost healed.
