PRAYER

Teach me to pray with constant, new desire,
As only fresh communion can inspire,
And find in primal cause needed effect;
Then, in this holy oneness, just reflect.

Teach me to pray by living gratitude,
Which law the elements of Love include.
Thus bearing witness, God I glorify
And claim the fruits of Love to testify.

Teach me to pray with patternless appeal,
To let the outlines of pure Mind reveal
A higher sense to gain when I can see
Truth's ever-visible transparency.
