CLASS EXPERIENCE

With feet unshod we come before the Christ
To learn of Life, the One immaculate;
with purer vision, know as we are known.
How gently thought begins the upward way;
Then step by step we rise, and earth weights fall
As faith becomes an ever clearer sight,
And through the thinning veil of sense appear
Vast Love-lit vistas of divinity,
The fullness of the infinite design.
Then like a voice: "Go show what you have seen.
A hungry world awaits. Go feed My sheep."
How gratefully we bear the precious bread
And hold aloft a torch that cannot fail.
