I should like to submit the following brief testimony of Christian Science healing which I experienced when I was a child.

One summer I suffered for several weeks from mastoid trouble. I was unwilling to eat what was offered me and was not interested in any activity. When my mother, who had been working for me in Science, saw that I was not improving, she took a firmer stand. She realized that doubt and fear were keeping us from positive scientific thinking, and that not until these were removed from thought were we placing full reliance on Truth. She asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner, who was also my Sunday School teacher. Instead of passing on, as it seemed I would, I awoke one morning with a smile. I was learning that "God is Love," as the practitioner had repeatedly demanded that I declare. When I was obedient I began to recover.

I was able to sit up and read from the Bible and from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. With an old copy of the Christian Science Quarterly, I reviewed the Lesson-Sermons for months back. When school started in the fall, I was well and active with the other children.
