With One Accord

MAUDE DE VERSE NEWTON

Let not the breath of discord sever
Those who seek a righteous way;
Let no disturbing doubt possess you—
Decision is the Lord's alway.

Who prays in secret for true guidance,
Earnestly with humble heart,
Shall find awaiting him the answer
That Spirit only can impart.

With one accord, my brethren, render
Fruitful service unto God;
With patience, meekness, and compassion,
Mark well the path the Master trod.
