Having had numerous healings through the power of Truth during the past sixteen years, I am impelled to add my testimony to the ever-growing list of healings accomplished through this divine method of healing.

That "man's extremity is God's opportunity" was truly exemplified in my experience. I had studied Christian Science eight years previous to 1925, but apparently I was not ready to put my complete trust in it, for the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, was laid aside. Almost immediately I was overcome with a stomach ailment, which grew continually worse, until in 1925 I was compelled to quit my work. Not getting any satisfaction from physicians or dieting, I again got out my Science and Health, and called a Christian Science practitioner, who began work for me. I made several visits to her office, and in two weeks went back to work.

Many times during the intervening years the way has seemed long and difficult, but looking back, I realize there has been much progress.

I am grateful for the help of many loving practitioners. I have also been healed of nervous breakdown in a very severe form. This healing was very slow and I was often discouraged, but through perseverance, patience, and much help from others the healing was accomplished. Other healings include those of an infected linger, chronic sore throat, colds, and, to a great extent, of fear.

While going through class I was healed of a felon on my thumb. Many years ago an injury to this thumb had left a small lump on the bone. The swelling and pain were overcome in a few days, and when the demonstration was completed the visible effect of the old injury which had been evident for thirty years was entirely gone. This impressed me very much.

I am very grateful for having had the privilege of class instruction from a consecrated student of Mrs. Eddy; for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church; also for the literature, the periodicals, and the little I am able to do to help carry on this great movement which Mrs. Eddy was divinely led to establish for all future generations. —(Mrs.) Arletta Simonton Moore, Los Angeles, California.
