More than sixty years ago Mrs. Eddy declared (Science and Health, p. 468): "There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter. All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all." This revolutionary statement, fundamental in all the conclusions and practice of Christian Science, has aroused the world's thought in its three main lines, scholastic, theological, and medical.

Your correspondent's letter makes it plain that he has failed to grasp the teaching and import of Christian Science, and he certainly has no right to deny that others can grasp its teaching. There are vast multitudes in all parts of the world who are gaining a demonstrable knowledge of this infinite truth. Hundreds of thousands of men and women in all ranks of life are applying this test to the truths taught in Christian Science, with considerable success.
