Our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, says (Church Manual, Art. VIII, Sect. 24), "Testimony in regard to the healing of the sick is highly important."

My first healing, that of rheumatism, came simply through the reading of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and is permanent. Following the first healing I began a diligent study of the Bible and the textbook, and learned that "only through radical reliance on Truth can scientific healing power be realized" (Science and Health, p. 167). In this way I was healed of recurrent sick headaches, tonsillitis, and an inflamed condition of one eye; and I have had numerous other blessings and proofs of divine protection and guidance.

I am very grateful for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church, for class instruction, and for the privilege of serving my fellow men through the understanding of Christian Science. I am especially grateful for the opportunity for work within the activities of our church.
