In 1918 I was taken with a severe attack of influenza, which left me with a complication of diseases, among them being stomach and bowel disorder, kidney trouble, headaches, night sweats, piles, goiter, and a very nervous condition. Through the study and application of the truth, as taught in the Christian Science texbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I was entirely healed. Many of these healings were slow, and came as the result of earnest study, which led to a greater understanding of the truth.

I am indeed grateful for membership in The Mother Church; for class instruction by a loyal teacher; and to all those who have so lovingly helped me to understand this truth, which makes us free.
