Our critic attacks Christian Science for teaching the unreality...

Syracuse (N. Y.) Post-Standard

Our critic attacks Christian Science for teaching the unreality of death, when, as a matter of fact, it was the mission of the Master to demonstrate this very thing through the opposite understanding of the infinity of Life. Jesus not only proved for himself and others the unreality of death, but assured his followers that they would be able to prove it for themselves and others when he declared, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death."

No Christian can safely question sincerity or veracity of Jesus' teaching on this point without questioning his teaching on all other points. He meant all that he said, or he did not mean any of it. Much of the criticism of Christian Science is characterized by the loose logic of which the foregoing example is a fair illustration.
