CHICAGO, ILL.—At a special meeting of the members of Eleventh Church of Christ, Scientist, held June 21, 1914, it was voted to purchase for their church building site the lot at the corner of Logan Boulevard and Mozart Street, fronting 95 feet on Logan Boulevard and 125 feet on Mozart Street, at a purchase price of eleven thousand five hundred dollars. This property has since been paid for. The site, location, and surroundings make this one of the finest corner lots in the Logan Square district.

Although the need for larger and more suitable quarters was very apparent, the actual erection of a church building was not seriously thought of until more recently, when the increasing attendance began to tax the seating capacity of the Logan Square Auditorium, where the church is now holding its Sunday services and Wednesday evening meetings. At a special meeting of the members of this church, held Sept. 12, 1915, it was the practically unanimous thought that there was immediate need of a church building and that the time had arrived to erect an edifice. Subsequently, at a meeting held Sept. 19, 1915, it was decided to proceed at once with the erection of the church home. The new church will have a seating capacity of at least fourteen hundred and will cost about one hundred and twenty-five thousand dollars. The work of building the new edifice will be started as soon as the necessary plans have been worked out.

KOKOMO, IND.—First Church of Christ, Scientist, maintained a reading-tent at the Industrial Exposition held the third week of September. It was fitted up in an attractive manner with comfortable chairs, and a show-case containing all the writings of Mrs. Eddy occupied a prominent place. A table was provided with all the authorized Christian Science literature, as well as periodicals for the use of those interested. The tent was open daily until ten o'clock in the evening, and a large number of Christian Science Sentinels and Monitors were distributed to the public.
