With a heart full of gratitude for the blessings received from Christian Science I send this testimony.

About six years ago I was awakened during the night with a sense of being wanted, and while I was thinking what it could be, I heard a low moan proceeding from the bath room. Hastening there I found my husband lying on the floor, white and cold, with only the faintest sign of breathing. I had no time to be afraid, and knew I had work to do. I took his head on my arm and declared audibly that God is the only power, the only presence, the only Life, and that he could not be separated from Him. At first there was no sign, and I then again declared the truth and asked him to speak to me. He opened his eyes, looked at me, and said yes, and that was all. I again declared the truth and asked him to go back to his room. He arose to his feet and started to-walk to the chamber. I put out my to steady him and the moment I touched him he fell again at my feet. I then saw that God needed no material help to complete the work. In a short time he was able to get into bed, and after the demonstration was complete he said, that his heart seemed to beat so fast that it smothered him, then stopped, and that was all he knewe until I spoke to him. Thus was it again proved to me that man is God's own reflection. (Science and Health, p. 471.)

About seven years ago my health was so poor that I could not walk alone. I had been treated by doctors for years, but no one seemed to know what the matter was with me. I had bad headaches during all the time, and one doctor said that I had hardening of the spinal cord. I got a little relief, but the next year I was as bad as ever, and was so discouraged that I did not know what to do. My husband said I must try some other doctor, but I told him that I was going to try Christian Science. I had heard of it but did not have any faith in it.

One morning with the help of my husband I went to see a practitioner a short distance away,—a young lady with whom I was somewhat acquainted. When I saw her I began to cry, and I asked her if she could heal me. She said, "No; but God can,—there is nothing impossible with God." I took a treatment and bought a copy of Science and Health, and commenced to read the next morning. As I read, I told my husband that I felt better. I continued to read the book and had three weeks' treatment, and was healed. I was never so well in my life, and I do all my work, which I never did before.

I am thankful to God for Christian Science and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, to my teacher, and to all who in every way helped me to understand the Truth.
