Testimonial Meeting at Concord, N. H.
Correspondent
THE regular meeting of First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Concord, N. H., on Wednesday evening, August 28, was largely attended, many visitors from out of town, who had been in attendance upon the State Fair at Mrs. Eddy's invitation, being present.
After the opening exercises, Rev. Mr. Tomlinson, the First Reader, said, "The meeting is now open, and we shall hear grateful testimonies from loving hearts."
A gentleman from Canada testified to the beneficial effects of Christian Science teaching as felt all over the globe. In his work as a professional electrical engineer for the Canadian government, he was frequently called upon to put his knowledge of Christian Science into operation, proving that "there is no sensation in matter."
