Daily goal of gratitude

The beginning of a new year is a wonderful time to express gratitude for the past year’s abundance and for all we will receive in the future.

In my own experience, I’ve found that by being grateful every day, we open our thought to receive the inspiration of divine Love, God. Expressing gratitude is a way to love God and His creation. And that has a healing effect.

A few years ago, at the beginning of the year, I sat down and made a plan for my business based on how I thought the year would unfold—how much business I expected, how I would achieve my daily, weekly, monthly, and annual goals. I wrote out a clearly defined plan, but unfortunately things did not go as I expected. As the busy summer season approached in June, it was obvious that business was off course and our line of credit was going to run out.
