Eye on the world: Drug addiction is not natural
In an article titled “A new unity of focus on the heroin trade” The Christian Science Monitor remarks on the timeliness of a coming United Nations special session on drugs, observing, “The world must unite to set a norm against [drug] addiction.” The Monitor further notes, “Every country with a drug problem must provide lessons and aid in kicking this habit. Global unity itself will send a strong message that drug addiction is not the norm.”
