NOW LIVE: A new and improved reading experience on JSH-Online

We’re excited to announce a new and improved reading experience on JSH-Online. Many thanks to our readers who’ve offered ideas about how to simplify, improve, and update the site.

When visiting an article, testimony, or blog page for The Christian Science Journal, Sentinel, or Herald, you’ll notice some changes have been made that allow you to focus on the content and healing ideas presented, with fewer distractions and new opportunities to dive deeper. Familiar tools like sharing and bookmarking are more accessible and easy to use. And small aesthetic improvements offer the reader a more comfortable, enjoyable experience overall — whether you’re using a laptop, home computer, tablet, or smartphone.

When you log in and open a page of content, you’ll notice:

  • A new and improved reading experience on JSH-Online
A clean, cohesive design — A single-column layout (with no sidebars) is used on every page so you can more easily focus on the article or testimony you’re reading.

  • Improved legibility — Larger font sizes make for easier reading on every device.

  • A simplified toolbar of the most used tools and features — We’ve made it even easier for you to listen to, bookmark, share, and print your favorite content. The new content toolbar appears at the top of every page and stays with you as you scroll.

  • A quick way to search the books — A new, simplified box for searching the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures appears at the bottom of every page.

  • A new navigator carousel — Browsing content within a series is easier with the new “More from this issue/blog/podcast” feature. At the bottom of every page, click or swipe through this carousel to explore more content.

  • Features to help you go deeper — You’ll get access to special collections and ways to explore other, related content.

  • Clear and easy-to-use feedback options — At the bottom of each page, you can send a comment to the editors, alert us to typos or broken links, and add keywords for improving searchability.

We hope you’re enjoying JSH-Online and that these enhancements and new features will enrich your experience of its one-of-a-kind healing content. We’d like to hear what you think and, as always, know more about how the Journal, Sentinel, and Herald support and nurture your practice of Christian Science. Drop us a line anytime.
