Generosity and supply
Did you ever wish for something you didn’t have? Well, who hasn’t? But what’s the best way to attain what we hope for?
Think for a moment of the sun. It constantly pours forth incredible volumes of light and warmth. It’s been doing that for millions of years. What does it receive from without? Nothing, except maybe our praise and admiration. How like God!
God, who is infinite Love and Life, pours forth infinite goodness, never asking for anything in return except our praise. And that because it’s good for us, not because He needs it. Therefore, we, in our true being, as God’s children, made in His likeness, express Him and pour forth goodness to all. That is why it is such a good thing to love and help and give to others. It reveals in us our true, spiritual nature that knows nothing but abundant good.
